4 months

So December has been a very hectic month with Christmas shopping and traveling to see family and all that comes with the holiday season. It's also been a very busy month for Madison. She turned 4 months just before Christmas. What a quick 4 months it's been! I still remember bringing her home from the hospital...

During the last month or so she has learned a great many things. It's so much fun to watch her do anything because her little mind is just churning with new information. She's in a constant state of learning. One of the most enjoyable things to watch her do is grab things. Her dexterity and eye-hand coordination have improved by leaps and bounds.

She is able to see something then reach out and grab it. She pulls her pacifier out of her mouth and is able to put it back in. She does all kinds of things with her toys now other than stare at them. What's really funny is that she has started grunting when she concentrates really hard or gets frustrated. Before she only grunted when she was working on a diaper!

One of the things I worried about at first was when people commented on how little she is. I wondered if something was wrong but her ped has assured me that she is healthy, she's just petite. And she really is, she's still wearing her 3 months size clothes! That just means her clothes last longer before she outgrows them!
